Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure to enhance the volume and shape of the breasts. Typically this is done using breast implants, fat transfer or a combination of these.
Mastopexy, also known as a breast lift, is a procedure that reshapes, tightens and lifts breasts to create an overall more youthful appearance.
Breast reduction is a surgery that reduces the volume and weight of the breasts to help alleviate back, neck and shoulder pain. This procedure has the added benefit of lifting and reshaping the breasts as well.
Breast Reconstruction
Breast reconstruction following mastectomy or lumpectomy often plays an important role in restoring physical and emotional wellness for patients in their journey to becoming whole again. Dr. Klok is fellowship trained in breast reconstruction surgery. Referral can be made by your primary care provider, general surgeon or oncologist to Dr. Klok through the Breast Reconstruction Network.
Liposuction
The Liposuction procedure can be pretty complicated, but dramatically improves the life of anyone who undergoes it. Our foremost purpose at Dr. Jennifer Klok is to perform safe procedures, and we make it our business to take care of all pre-surgery and post-surgery proceedings in order to ensure a safe recovery and a successful post-surgery life for each patient.
Abdominoplasty
Abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck, is a procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the abdomen to improve its overall contour and shape. The procedure also often involves rectus muscle diastasis repair as well as liposuction contouring.
Top Surgery
Dr. Klok performs gender affirming upper surgeries including chest construction and breast construction procedures. Referrals for this surgery are made through TransCare BC.
Gynecomastia
Surgery for gynecomastia involves the removal of excess breast and fatty tissue in men to improve the contour of the chest.
Labiaplasty
Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure to reshape and resize the labia. This procedure also corrects asymmetry of the labia. Typically patients have concerns with the appearance and length of the labia minora and this can be addressed by trimming away the excess skin.
Blepharoplasty
Upper eyelid blepharoplasty is a procedure used to remove excess skin from the upper eyelids.
Ear Lobes
Torn or split earlobes is typically the result of earring related trauma and can be repaired in the office by Dr. Klok under local anesthetic.
Moles, skin tags, cysts lipomas
Excision of benign lesions including moles, skin tags, cysts and lipomas are removed in the office by Dr. Klok under local anesthetic.
